11th Apex Latino Arts Festival

Saturday June 4, 2022

3 PM – 10 PM

Historic Downtown Apex

The Apex Latino Arts Festival was piloted in 2010 in order to highlight the presence of Latino arts and culture in our local community and provide an opportunity to build bridges across cultures. Throughout the day, the Apex Latino Arts Festival hosts a food tasting culinary event, children’s arts and crafts workshops, traditional piñata breaking ceremonies, Latin American dance and music performances, and an arts and crafts bazaar.

For 2022, we will begin at 3pm with free art/craft activities for all ages and piñata breaking for children at the Halle Cultural Arts Center. We will continue in the evening, from 6 – 10 pm, with the popular food tasting culinary event featuring signature dishes of Central and South America and the Caribbean, outside the Historic Apex Union Depot on Salem Street (between Center and Saunders).  Latino dance and music performances, arts and crafts bazaar, non-profit exhibits, and more, add to the festive atmosphere.

Partnerships and sponsorships helps us keep the Festival accessible to families and people of all ages.  For sponsorship information, please visit our sponsors page.

The Apex Latino Arts Festival, is run by a group of dedicated volunteers, that work in conjunction with Fiesta Cristiana and the Town of Apex. This annual festival is enjoyed by Apex residents and surrounding communities.
